LEAVE YOUR DESK FOR LUNCH

A recent survey showed that about half of workers eat lunch at their desk include me! and many don't bother eating lunch at all. Are you one of those who dine by the glow of your computer screen? You should know that eating lunch at your desk is bad for your brain. In particular;

  1. Being sedentary hurts your brain! Sitting too long in one place strains your cardiovascular system, may cause you to gain weight and otherwise increases the likelihood that you'll end up with a stroke or other health problems
  2. Socializing with your coworkers is good for your brain. Instead of eating lunch alone, go out with your fellow wage-slaves-even the one you don't like very well. Note only does socializing make your brain happy, it will probably help you do better at work.
  3. Taking a break feeds your brain! Give yourself somethings to look at besides your cubicle walls and something to think about other than that report you're working on. Coming back to your work refreshed and energized makes you more productive than slogging through it. Changing up your surrounding can help boost creativity and can help prevent stress and burnout.

Also translating a big-picture problem or goal (" Get ready to file taxes") into its smaller tasks ("find my W-2 and Get recommendations for which tax software to use") is another executive function making a to-do list creates mental space for doing other tasks, not just remembering the various thinks you have to do. plus using a to-do list can make your feel good . one study showed that you get a little dopamine rush every time you cross a task off your to-do list ( dopamine makes you feel good, elevating your mode ). You should list even small tasks just for the reward of marking through them. one researcher explained that the frequency of process is more important to your brain than how high the progress is, Practically sp...

What Do You Mean By Rational Animal ?

I think before we start talking who deserved to be rational ? First we need to find out the proper definition of rationality, as I was searching about meaning of the Rationality I found that it has different specialized meanings in Philosophy, Economics, Sociology, Psychology and so on. Since I interest in philosophy I thought it would be better to share some philosopher theory and my opinion.   According to Aristotle, humans are the rational animal. The borderline between rational and irrationality is fundamental to many aspects of human life including the law, mental health, and language interpretation. And my opinion is that we are a thinking center and thinking itself is a parts of reasoning. When do we think? whenever we try to find solutions for problems or before doing something we are tend to grasp the reasoning, since we are rational creature, sharing, arguing, discussing, working together are enough witness, to believe that we are the best creature ever! And yes we are a ...

Four AGREEMENTS   1.         Be impeccable with your words: Speak with integrity, avoid gossip, and use your words to spread truth and love. Avoid to spry bad words. it will be against you! Avoid black-magic never say bad word to someone, because it will become your diseases. try to say good word during of communication. 2.         Don't take anything personally: Recognize that others' actions and words reflect their own reality, not necessarily the truth about you. what is black-magic when someone say some bad word about you and you know it's not you. then do not take it personally.  black magic= bad word like "your lazy person"       white magic= " you look amazing today" 3.         Don't make assumptions: Communicate clearly and ask f...
