YOU NEED PROTEIN FOR HAPPINESS

Protein supplies the amino acids your brain needs to produce neurotransmitters such as serotonin, which helps regulate moods. Put simply, you need protein for happiness.
However, when it comes to protein, your body used only what it needs and stores the extra as body fat. eating large amounts of protein, especially from animal foods, can increase your saturated fat ( bad fat) and cholesterol intake. It can also cause you to crowd out other important foods, such as grains, fruits, and vegetables, creating a nutritional imbalance.
When you body digested protein, it produces toxic by-products. The kidneys filter these toxins out. So eating too much protein strains your kidney. Also, consumption of excess protein requires more water to increases the chances of dehydration and increases the need of urinate.
Athletes need only slightly more protein than the recommended dietary allowance ( RDA). Generally, non-athletes needs 1/2 gram per pound of body weight, and most athletes needs 1/2 to 3/4 gram of protein per pound of body weight.

Keep in mind the following protein contents of common foods;

  • A3-to 4-ounce serving of lean meat, poultry, or fish contains about 25 to 35 grams of protein
  • 1 cup of cooked beans or lentils contains about 18 grams of protein
  • 1 cup of low-fat or fat free milk contains 8 grams of protein
  • 1 cup of low-fat yogurt contains about 10 grams of protein
  • 1 cup of low-fat cottage cheese contains about 28 grams of protein
  • 2 tablespoon of peanut butter contain about 7 grams of protein
  • 2 ounce of low-fat cheese contain 14 to 16 grams of protein
  • 1 serving of vegetables contains 1 to 3 grams of protein
  • 1 serving of grain foods generally contains 3 to 6 grams of protein

MAKE A TO-DO LIST

W riting a to-do list may not seems like much of a brain booster, but it is figuring out your priorities and filtering out the nonessentials are higher level cognitive tasks, and practicing theses skills keeps your brain in top notch shape . Also translating a big-picture problem or goal (" Get ready to file taxes") into its smaller tasks ("find my W-2 and Get recommendations for which tax software to use") is another executive function making a to-do list creates mental space for doing other tasks, not just remembering the various thinks you have to do. plus using a to-do list can make your feel good . one study showed that you get a little dopamine rush every time you cross a task off your to-do list ( dopamine makes you feel good, elevating your mode ). You should list even small tasks just for the reward of marking through them. one researcher explained that the frequency of process is more important to your brain than how high the progress is, Practically sp...

What Do You Mean By Rational Animal ?

I think before we start talking who deserved to be rational ? First we need to find out the proper definition of rationality, as I was searching about meaning of the Rationality I found that it has different specialized meanings in Philosophy, Economics, Sociology, Psychology and so on. Since I interest in philosophy I thought it would be better to share some philosopher theory and my opinion.   According to Aristotle, humans are the rational animal. The borderline between rational and irrationality is fundamental to many aspects of human life including the law, mental health, and language interpretation. And my opinion is that we are a thinking center and thinking itself is a parts of reasoning. When do we think? whenever we try to find solutions for problems or before doing something we are tend to grasp the reasoning, since we are rational creature, sharing, arguing, discussing, working together are enough witness, to believe that we are the best creature ever! And yes we are a ...

Why We Need Vitamin ( P ) ?

The title sounds very ridiculous, top of that I am not biologist, don't flip the page. read the article to the end and you would be agreeing with me!  As human beings,we are social creatures by nature, we like to have pets but not all the time, because this is not what we designed for, we are not birds to fly to the sky, we are not wild  animals to don't care, because they do not have human level feeling or perception! We don't like feeling alone, and our bodies and brains actually function better when we are surrounded by others. If you google about "Why humans are necessary for other human?" I am sure you will find thousand of articles. Lets see what Psychologist said about it. Whether a person lives in isolation or not, feeling a lack of social connectedness can be painful plus being alone can result in negative reactions related to loneliness (sadness, hopelessness so on.. ) and also psychologist recommend to share your feeling. Now we need to find out to who ...
